Wow, what a turn out at First Night Northampton!!! We can't stress enough how flabbergasted and ecstatic we were to see that tiny room so full of people. Thank you to all who came, especially those who braved the cold for most of the set; give yourselves a large and healthy pat on the back!
We can now say that our performance season is really under way, as we prep ourselves for the onset of the National Championship of High School A Capella, a competition that accepted us in early December. We are waiting to hear from organizers from the event staff, but for brief overview of the kind of odds we're looking at, make sure to check out http://www.nchsaonline.com (I think we're competing Feb. 10)
I can't say anything else about big upcoming shows, only to hint that we may have our own show at a certain local venue in the spring.
Last, but not least, I'd like to say that Ben and I have been making our best efforts to get the site up and running again, and have even started to edit out last years bios! Keep checking back for more juicy news about the 'Tones as the season progresses.
Wow! Happy 2007, Everyone! Thank you so much to everyone who came to see us last night at Northampton's First Night performance.
For those of you who know me, and many of you who know OF me, Rachel Messeck is never speechless. And I truly was when I stepped out last night and saw how many people had come to support us at the show. It was completely overwhelming. I think that the whole group shares my sentiments when I say that it was the best it could have been because of all of those who came to see us.
So on to bigger and better things... hopefully! We've been accepted into a competition and we're waiting on the dates for that... If we get to the national finals we go to Disneyland!! Stay posted for other performance dates on the Calendar page. Anyway, thanks for your never ending enthusiasm, and we hope to see you very soon!
